Welcome to The Meeting House and Bryn Bwthyn (Penyrwrlodd farm cottages)
Two recently restored cottages offering affordable luxury self-catering accommodation just one and half miles outside Hay-on-Wye, with a warm welcome and friendly hosts.  The houses are internally linked and can sleep up to 17 people.
The Meeting house (sleeps 9) and Bryn Bwthyn (sleeps 8). Perfect for family get togethers. They can be rented separately or together for larger groups.

The holiday houses are situated above Llanigon, just 3/4 mile from the Hay festival site and have spectacular, unspoilt views from the house and gardens stretching as far as the Brecon Beacons.  They boast peaceful surroundings and are perfect for families, adventurers, walkers and book lovers alike.

The place name is pronounced “Pen-yr-wr-lodd” (peny-wer-lod).  Like many place names in old Welsh the precise meaning is lost in time.  The closest translation we think is “the head [top] of the meadow”.
