The Hay Festival 23rd May to 2nd June 2024
Hay holds a Festival at the end of May at which international authors, stars of stage, screen and radio regularly perform. Alongside this is the Children's Festival where storytelling, puppetry, and magic occupy children from the ages of 6 to 12 in workshops, with additional activities for younger children.

The Royal Welsh Show 22nd-25th July 2024

Steam and Vintage Rally (5 minutes from Hay) Sunday 11th August 2024 Boatside Farm, Hay-on-Wye HR3 5RS. The Rally is an event which caters for all the family – nostalgic vintage items for the older generation, entertainment for the children and plenty to interest everyone else.

Herefordshire Art Week is a nine day art trail open to all. Artists, craftmakers and creative businesses open their private studios everyday from 11am - 5pm at least.
Hay Festival Winter Weekend 28th November– 1st December 2024
Hay Festival runs a mini-festival at the end of November, at which international stars of stage, screen and radio regularly perform. There are additional events and activities for children and young adults.
